The tension between violence and superstition.

I am fascinated by this tension that exists between violence and superstition, especially in the Latin American context. This duality creates a kind of dark humor, very ironic, which serves as a counterpoint to real tragedy. It is the eternal contrast between paradise and hell, present in every sequence of a film as well as in an important decision.

It is this vision that has guided my cinematic creation. So far, it has been modest, but over time, I have been able to discern my particular themes of dramatic interest and their treatment. Currently, I am working on the development of three fiction films: La Tercera Conjunción, El Triángulo Maldito, and L’Hexagone.

Exploration and transformation of territory through documentary.

I see documentary as a space for encounter and transformation of territory. It is a medium that allows exploring, questioning, and revealing the multiple facets of a place, a community, an identity. Through images and storytelling, it becomes a bridge between different realities, a tool for understanding the deep issues shaping a space.
This process is not just observation but also an invitation to reflection and change. Documentaries give voice to silences, shed light on shadows, and contribute to transforming perceptions and territorial dynamics. It thus becomes a meeting point where history, memory, and collective aspiration intersect.
